I hope that you had a very enjoyable Easter break and that the whole family is refreshed and ready for the final few months of school. It is very hard to believe that we have already entered May and that end of year events are firmly on the horizon.
Congratulations and the best of luck to all our Spring sports teams who compete over the next few weeks in a very short Spring season. Tennis, Track & Field, Golf, Softball and Girls Soccer are all squeezed into the month of May, so as you can see it is an incredibly busy time for both student-athletes and the coaches. We would like to thank you in advance for your support for what for some athletes are life changing experiences.
In the last few weeks, we at ISL have been reminding our students about the ISL dress code and have very clearly outlined the dress acceptations even as the weather warms up. I would be grateful for your support in this regard and remind your children what is written in the Parent-Student Handbook regarding the dress code:
“Students are expected to dress in an appropriate manner. Baseball caps and hats should not be worn inside the school building. Dress and footwear should be practical and sensible for the school day. Underwear should not be visible and there should be no gap visible between a student’s top and their trousers, skirt or shorts. Skirts and shorts must be at least mid-thigh length. Tops may be sleeveless but not backless, off the shoulder or low at the front. Slogans on tops should not include offensive, inappropriate or foul language.”
Your support in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
