Additional Schooling Costs

All School Compulsory

  • Compulsory trips take place from Grade 4 to Grade 11 and have ranged in the past years from EUR 200 to EUR 900, depending on location and activity
  • Textbooks and books loaned to the students will be charged to School Life account if not returned or returned in bad condition
  • Physical Education uniform
  • Special additional educational support may be invoiced based on the individual’s situation and/or case

 

Upper School Compulsory

  • Students are required to bring their own personal laptop per school specifications
  • Students will require personal supplies and basic scientific calculator
  • From Grade 7, upper school students are required to purchase a TI-Inspire Calculator through the math department: EUR 150 will be charged to School Life account at the start of the school year 2019/2020 per calculator provided

 

Lower School Compulsory

  • Healthy snacks for Grade 2 to Grade 5: EUR 210 will be charged to School Life account at start of school year 2019/2020 per child attending
  • Class Funds for events organised by Room parents for Grade PS to Grade 5: for Grade PS to Grade 1, EUR 15 and for Grade 2 to Grade 5, EUR 10 will be charged to School Life account at the start of the school year 2019/2020 per child attending

 

Voluntary commitments

  • Upper School lunches and cafeteria purchases are charged through the School Life account.
    • The Daily cafeteria limit per Upper School student card is EUR 10 for 2019/2020
  • Lower School Lunches as ordered on a daily basis in the classroom

Please note that prices are set at the start of the school year and the subsidy borne by the school is gradually being eliminated

  • Instrument rental when needed is charged on sign-up with the School Band
  • Voluntary activities may also incur additional charges. Please click here for further details
  • Team Sports kit is required for team participation
  • Individual tutoring organised by parents
  • After school activities not organised by the school (even if on the school premises)
  • Insurance for personal property and travel insurance: the school strongly recommends that parents or guardians provide insurance for all students personal and entrusted property as well as travel insurance
