The International School of Luxembourg is pleased to announce that at its December Board meeting, Maaret Davey was elected to take on the role as Chair of the Board of Governors.
Maaret joined Pictet & Cie in 2020 from UBS where she worked as Client Advisor within the UHNW team and was head of the client services team that she set up. She started her banking career with the Nordic Nordea Bank in 2013 where she developed her portfolio of clients and also headed and set up their KYC and Tax due diligence team.
In her previous career she was an entrepreneur within IT consultancy and holds an MBA as well as certification in accounting. Maaret is also a founding member of Dress for Success Luxembourg asbl, an association to help women to gain economic independence through reinsertion into the working world.
Maaret has contributed to ISL’s Board of Governors for over 6 years, including 2 years as the Secretary of the Board. Greg Kok, Treasurer, Rosa Villalobos, Secretary and Sarah Khabirpour, Vice Chair will support Maaret as officers on the ISL Board of Governors.
The International School of Luxembourg would like to thank Nicolas Henckes who served as the Chair of the Board for the last two years. The ISL Community is grateful and very appreciative of Nicolas’ hard work, time and dedication.
