Tali, an alumna from the class of 2019, has secured a spot in the national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.

As Luxembourg makes its comeback to the Eurovision stage this year, Tali stands among the eight finalists running for the opportunity to represent the nation in Malmö, Sweden. Having graduated from Marymount Manhattan College in May 2023 in New York, Tali's life revolves around a blend of roles as an actress, singer, songwriter, and music teacher. She seamlessly shuttles between New York, where she works, and Luxembourg, where her family resides. As an alumna, Tali is a familiar face at ISL, frequently visiting the school to meet music students and share her experiences as a young artist.

My musical journey started in ISL. Choirs, musical theatres, talent shows...I participated in every opportunity that is available and it made me who I am right now.

Reflecting on her time in ISL, Tali believes that the school had a tremendous impact on her musical journey. In her own words, "All my music journey started in ISL. I did a lot of after school activities. Choirs, musical theatres, talent shows...I participated in every opportunity that is available and it made me who I am right now."

As Tali prepares for the national final at the Rockhal in Esch-sur-Alzette on 27 January, she shares her excitement and focus on delivering a memorable performance. Beyond the competitive aspect, Tali emphasizes her goal to make connections and forge friendships in the industry. "You always enter to win, but my goal is to make connections and friends, too."

Tali's Eurovision journey is deeply personal, rooted in her late grandfather's influence, who introduced her to the prestigious song contest in her early teens. Her song, "Fighter," delivered in both French and English, resonates with themes of perseverance and the daily struggle to pursue dreams and passions. It is especially empowering for women who persevere each day to manifest their dreams, a message Tali is very passionate about. It's the core piece of advice she can give to any young artist who want to pursue a career in music, "Keep going. No matter what the people around you say; if you love it, do it. Don't shy away from your passion."
