First of all, I would like to thank the fabulous ISL parents and PTO team, who provided treats & goodies in the Lower and Upper Schools, as an appreciation of our staff members' hard work and dedication.
As you know, last week we had our Accreditation Preparatory Visit with two visitors from the Council of International Schools (CIS) and Middle States Association (MSA). Our visitors gave us their initial impressions and we will receive our feedback report in late January.
They used the four points of the compass with us and I thought it would be fun to share it with you. We know that there will be recommendations to come as any school is always dynamic in its desire to grow and provide the best possible learning experience it can for its students. However, I hope everyone will be very proud of the words the visitors attributed to ISL which is in itself a tribute to the team work and collaboration of everyone who plays a part in the daily life of our school.
A huge thank you to everyone who gave input for the report, there will be many more opportunities in the new year when there will be a survey for the whole community to complete as part of the self- study process.
2016 is almost at an end and on behalf of all the staff, I wish everyone time to relax with their families, safe travels and a peaceful break and we all look forward to welcoming everyone back in January.
Happy New Year.
