Parents

The International School of Luxembourg works in partnership with the parent community with many parents involved in a wide variety of activities on a daily basis around the school. We are strongly supported by a proactive Board of Governors and dynamic Parent Community Group.

Parent volunteers are a vital part of the ISL community, supporting and enhancing life at our school. From assisting with sporting events, to working in the library, reading in the classroom, running the LAP programme, helping in the classroom as Room Parents, assisting with stage productions, event organisation, planning an array of surprises and activities for the Senior class, chaperoning field trips and so much more.

Parent Ambassadors assist and support new families during their transition to ISL and Luxembourg. Parent Ambassadors serve as a first point of contact to answer questions prior to arrival; greet new families at the New Family Orientation; facilitate making social connections; and make new families feel welcome and at ease in our community.

The Parent Community Group (PCG) welcomes new families and integrate parents into the ISL community, to create an ongoing social community for parents and families, and to endeavor to make information more accessible for parents. All parents are welcome to join the Parent Community Group at any time!
