ISL students were amazing at this year's 51st Jonk Fuerscher. After a presentation on the big stage on Friday and Saturday students were invited to participate in STEM workshops, listen to live music and hear keynote speakers from the science fields.
Céline Wagner (Class of 2020) recently met (via Zoom) with Grade 11 Green Club members, Maya Fish and Laurine König, to talk about her volunteer work in the Peruvian Cloud Forest as well as life at University (IE in Spain) where she is obtaining a dual degree in Business and International Relations.
Catherine is the first ISL Alumnus to be appointed to the ISL Board of Governors.
Recently, a panel of nine ISL Alumni met virtually with Grade 12 students to talk about transitioning to life in University.
In January, ISL's Entrepreneurship Club hosted its first guest speaker, Alumna Beatriz Guia, (Class of 2013).
This school year, Grade 10 students attended a series of six 'Career Panels' with ISL Alumni and Parents.
As I retire after twenty-six years at ISL, it has been a privilege and a pleasure to be a part of its growth. I look forward to seeing the School’s continued success and encourage everyone at school to embrace the changes that will come, to encourage and challenge our students to think big and to develop the passions and skills they will need to be future ready.
Last Friday March 12, Grade 11 students met virtually with 19 ISL Alumni to learn more about different fields of study, applying to university, and life away from home.
The first Alumni Virtual Quiz Night took place on Saturday, February 6, with 30 alumni participating, ranging from the Class of 1993 through to the Class of 2018.
On Saturday 13 June, the International School of Luxembourg (ISL) Class of 2020 graduated in the school’s own premises.

The International School of Luxembourg (ISL) Class of 2019 graduated on Saturday 25 May at the Grand Theatre. A total of 100 students from 27 different nationalities were in the graduating class this year.
