Full-time Lower School Classroom Teacher
Three month placement to cover a maternity leave.

The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent;
- Current teaching certificate or equivalent;
- At least two years of experience teaching children 7-8 years of age;
- Recent successful teaching experience in a similar school setting;
- Familiarity with, and understanding of, recent developments in early primary education;
- Experience working in a cooperative teaching situation;
- Understanding of, and experience working with, non-native English speaking students and parents;
- Fluency in English equivalent to mother-tongue level.
Part-time Lower School Teacher Assistant
Three month placement to cover a maternity leave.

- A secondary school diploma;
- Successful experience working with young children (5-8 years of age);
- A willingness to carry out a wide variety of activities with children, work under the instruction of the class teacher, and perform supervisory duties as needed;
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment;
- Demonstrated understanding of children's needs;
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team;
- Understanding of, and experience working with, non-native English speaking students and parents;
- Fluency in English equivalent to mother-tongue level.
Full-time Lower School Assistant Principal for Curriculum
To begin 09 August 2010 - Application deadline: 22 March.
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education, curriculum or a related field of study (MA preferred);
- Current teaching certificate or equivalent and classroom teaching experience;
- Three to five years of experience in a similar position, preferably in an international school;
- Demonstrated leadership with professional development and student assessment models;
- Familiarity with, and understanding of, recent developments in primary education curricula;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written;
- Understanding of, and experience working with, non-native English speaking students and parents;
- Fluency in English equivalent to mother-tongue level and preferably fluency in a second language (French or German as an advantage);
- The ability to work collegially with faculty and fellow administrators;
- Strong organisational and time management skills;
- Cultural sensitivity.
Substitute Teachers Needed!
The school is urgently seeking experienced, qualified teachers for substitute and replacement teaching in both the Lower School and the Upper School.
Candidates must have:
- A current teaching certificate (or equivalent);
- A Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education, or equivalent;
- Fluency in English equivalent to mother tongue
- Recent successful teaching experience at the primary or secondary school level.
