Parent Teacher Organisation
The school has a very active Parent Teacher Organisation; there is plenty of opportunity to be involved in this school and it has a nice community feel.

The Parent Teacher Organisation supports and enriches the life of the school, not only for the students but for the entire ISL Community. All parents and staff are automatically members of the PTO and are encouraged to participate in PTO activities.
The PTO offers opportunities to meet, share ideas, work together and have fun.
Events are organised to welcome new families and benefit from the cultural diversity of all. Profit from PTO fund-raising events is used to purchase items of broad benefit to the school community. Donations to ISL Charities are also made from PTO funds. In 2008, the PTO presented gifts of €5,250 each to ISL's IB CAS Project Moshi, Tanzania as well as to the Arche de Noé orphanage in Burundi.
The PTO sponsors and supports a number of special events and activities every year, including the International Luncheons in the Lower, Middle and High Schools, the International Dinner for Parents and Staff, the Annual Ice Cream Social, Parent Forums with guest speakers and Welcome Coffees throughout the year. The PTO Store stocks and sells stationery supplies and ISL sportswear. PTO Board and committee meetings are held once a month and are open to all parents and staff members.
